A very light weight, semi-transparant hemp and organic cotton jersey suitable for luxurious summershirts and tops, underwear and scarfs. This very fine knitted blend has a fluid like drape and feels almost as soft as silk in handling.
The shrinkage is relatively high, up to 6% in warp direction, therefor the width of 150 cm will become less wide after washing to about 141 cm. Also take in account the shrinkage in the weft direction of about 8%.
Available in a series of pastel and grey tones for orders over 500 meters. Production in your own colour is possible with the same MOQ. The hemp in this fabric was grown in North China, the organic cotton in India. The fabric is knitted in China in a factory that is affiliated with the Fair Wear Foundation and complies to al European standards for dyes and chemicals used in the production proces.
