Heavy fabric of boiled wool in melange colours (a silver grey colour). The mix of hues is obtained by dyeing the washed wool in different colours before spinning it. This sturdy loden fabric shows a high light fastness (6) as well as a high abrasion resistence (50.000 in the Martindale test) which makes it an ideal choice for wall coverings (panels for sound insulation) and furnishing. It is woven in a plain weave from conventional wool fibres from Europe, South America and Australia.
