A unique 12 mm wide and strong European canvas tape. Due to its small width is is easy to use in accessories and as a multifunctional strap. The classical binding is very tight and firm which, combined with the hemp fibres, makes this an ideal and 100% natural solution for your sustainable product. It can bear quite some weight and has a high abrasion resistance. It even gets stronger when wet.
The hemp was not only grown in Europe but also processed and finished there. The article is undyed and unbleached. The colour is the unique result of the interplay between sunlight, rain and earth during the retting process. One roll contains 50 mtr. This tape is included in our sample set.

Why we choose hemp

Hemp is considered to be one of the most sustainable textiles known. The plant doesn't require irrigation during growth, has almost no natural enemies (insects) and therefore needs no treatment with pesticides. Because it grows very fast (up to four meters in just a couple of months) weeds don't stand a chance, don't hamper the growth of the hemp plant and herbicides are not necessary. Hemp is a natural product: it is 100% biodegradable, very strong and has a nice touch and feel.
