On the product pages we try to provide as much information as possible regarding technical specifications, certification, origin and ecology. This list of frequently asked questions mainly covers issues such as shipping and services offered by Ecological Textiles. Of course, you may not find the answer to your specific question here. In that case, there is no need to fill in an online form, just give us a call (+31 475 334073) or send an email (info@ecologicaltextiles.com).
Ecological Textiles is a wholesaler. As such, we ask custumers to create an account (be prepared to fill in your VAT-number). After creating an account you will be able to log in. Prices wil be visible immediately. We work with tiered prices. For fabrics, the price indicated is that of a hundred meters or more. It is possible to order smaller quantities with a minimum of 1 meter. A higher price will be charged for this. To do so, click on one of the indicated quantities (5-100 meter or less than five meter). The indicated price will be adjusted accordingly.
This will be possible once you have made an account and have logged in.
For customers living in the Netherlands or Belgium it is possible to order through our retail website www.ecotex.nl
A selection of the materials and fabrics that are available on our wholesale website is also available on that webshop. If you can not find what you are looking for, please send us an email.
Yes, we offer sample sets of fabrics that are somehow related. Check our Sample Service.
Samples can also be ordered seperately.
It's possible to order from one meter. Prices indicated on the site are based on quantities of 100-300 meter. For smaller orders (from 5 to 100 meters or less than 5 meters) there is a surcharge. The amount of this surcharge is indicated for every article.
Quantities of several rolls or very thick and heavy rolls are mostly shipped on a pallet. Smaller quantities are either shipped as single rolls or in boxes. Experience has shown that it is safer and faster to send fabrics with a width of 1.60 meter or more in a box.
Yes. We ship to all countries worldwide.
In general the shipping rate for parcels within the Netherlands up to 23 kg. is a set price. This is also the case for small parcels up to 20 kg. for destinations throughout Europe. For larger orders and non-European destinations we will calculate the shipping costs and send you a quote.
We are shipping daily from our own warehouse, beneath our office in Roermond/The Netherlands. Boxes and single rolls are normally shipped with standard postal service, and our shipping costs are based on that. Shipments in the Netherlands usually arrive the next day, shipments to Belgium sometimes arrive the next day or a day later, sending to other European destinations takes 3-5 working days. Shipments to the US and Australia may take 8-10 days. Once the pallets, rolls or parcels are shipped, the adressing cannot be changed. Border controls, public holidays, customs workload etc. can cause delays beyond our control. We cannot take action on this either.
In that case you will need a courier service. We prefer that you arrange this yourself.
We try to keep in stock as much as possible. However, sometimes a fabric can be sold out. In case an article is not available, this is indicated. In that case it may be that a new production run has to be organised, in other cases the weaving- or knitting mills have some stock themselves. Lead times vary between one week and 8 weeks or sometimes even longer. When stock is low, this is not indicated on the website.
