This material is a very thin PLA (Polyactid Acid) nonwoven that prevents the migration of woolfibres in quilted fabrics.
When you are quilting the woolfleece between two layers of fabric, it is possible that wool fibers migrate through the outer fabric. This is due to movement, construction and washing. The scrim is very thin and can be stitched between the inner and outer layers.
The spunbound nonwoven is made of corn based PLA. It is produced as a fiber fleece and bonded by high temperature. The material is produced according the European REACH regulation.
We recommend to do wash tests for your construction at 30 degrees C. There is 140 meter on a roll.
