Small bobbles made from 100 percent wool. After being washed the wool is slightly felted and mechanically processed into bobbles. This makes an ideal organic material for stuffing upholstered furniture.
The wool is of Dutch origin and comes from the Campine Heath sheep, an old race that was mainly kept in the region between the south of the Netherlands and Belgium. The sheep from which this wool was taken are used for grazing the heaths in the region where we have our office, including the National Park De Meinweg. In fact, these sheep are in the wild all year round with the exception of winter. They contribute to the maintenance of the original vegetation, which has been severely affected by nitrogen deposition.
