This 10 mm wide black elastic tape is braided with organic cotton yarns covering the 100% natural rubber cords. It combines well with light and medium weight fabrics and threads easily into the trimming of your garment and can also be worn directly on the skin as a strap for example. Composed with 40% rubber it has an elasticity of ca 170% (between 150-190%), giving it a strong stretch and making it firm and longlasting. Produced with organic cotton yarns from Turkey and natural rubber (certified Oekotex 100) it is a sustainable alternative to synthetic elastic tapes.
