Most of the fabrics presented on these pages are woven from 100% linen. Even though this linen was grown ‘conventional’ and is not GOTS certified, the fabrics may still be considered to be sustainable textiles. The flax plant from which linen is made, doesn’t require irrigation during growth and even when it is grown conventionally it needs little or no treatment with herbicides or pesticides.
