Stretchy black rib 2x2 from organic cotton

A lovely soft and structured 2 x 2 medium weight rib in a black colour.
This fabric is perfect for edging the hems of your garment and also suitable to use as the base material for slim fitted shirts or underwear. Take in account its width of 100 cm. The elasticity and form retaining capacity of this rib fabric is further enhanced by the added four percent of elastane. This fabric (360 gr/m2) is heavier than our 2x2 rib with the article number ET_TKS008-8 (230 gr/m2). The navy colour was obtained with GOTS approved eco-friendly dyes.

Applications

This medium weight rib fabric can work well as the base fabric for e.g. slim fitted tops and dresses and for edging.

Origin of the material

The organic cotton was grown in the Turkish districts near the Aegean Sea (so called Aegean cotton). Turkey has a large cotton industry and the cotton was spun and knitted there in GOTS-certified factories, thus limiting the carbon footprint.
