Damask made of 100% linen, a unique fabric woven in Europe. The fabric has a floral design, a rose motif woven in two colours with a white warp and a grey weft. This sturdy 100% linen fabric is ideally suited for making curtains and table linen. The cloth can also be used for festive clothes, jackets, and costumes. The fabric is woven in a satin weave, which gives it a soft lustre. The linen was made from flax that was grown and spun in Europe.
Originally, damask consisted of one colour and the motif was realised solely through the different weaves. However, this damask is woven using a jacquard weaving machine, a technique in which each warp thread in the fabric can be moved separately. In the fabric presented here, the weft has a different colour, making the pattern more visible.
