This fabric is part of a series of medium-weight linen fabrics. All fabrics in this series are made from 100% linen, without any added synthetic fibres, and are woven in a plain weave. This specific fabric is undyed and unbleached and comes in the natural colour, which means that the colour is determined solely by the weather conditions during the growth of the flax plant and the conditions on the field during the retting process.
The fabrics have been stonewashed to give them a supple drape, attractive creases, vibrancy and a pleasant feel. With a weight of approx. 225 grams/m2, they are perfect for making summer trousers, skirts, dresses and jackets, for example. Thanks in part to their good colour fastness, they are also ideal for interior applications, such as curtain fabric.
The flax used to make the fabrics usually comes from North-West Europe, where the fabrics are also woven and finished.
